GSDWorld is a privately owned German Shepherd Dog Discussion Board. In order to participate and read, you have to register as a member with a screen name. With this registration and/or establishment of a user account, you are agreeing to the following terms:
1. Copyrighted Material
GSDWorld users agree not to post any material that is protected by copyright, trademark
or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner(s) of said copyright,
trademark or other proprietary right. Whenever possible, please post a link to an article or
news report, rather than copying and pasting it here onto the board. The downloading of photos
of well-known dogs is tolerated through the freedom of information act. It is also not permitted
to copy any photos or other written material from this board without the explicit written permission
from the GSDWorld owners. This is in addition to the copyright of the owners or authors of the
material in question. It is further agreed that any written material or photo becomes part of the
GSDWorld Board. This also includes mails sent by the Personal Message System (pm) of this board.
2. Participation on the Board
This is a moderated discussion board. While we prefer to moderate very lightly, the
administrators/owners and moderators of GSDWorld
will not tolerate hate posts and personal attacks. Lively discussions are encouraged and
opinions differ, as long as they stay without any provocation or undertone.
Questionable posts may be edited or deleted without explanation or warning.

-- Do not use untrue or misleading statements.
-- Do not make statements based on rumor.
-- Do not use defamatory statements or statements that attack the character of another.
-- Do not make abusive, hateful, harassing, or threatening statements.
-- Do not use statements that invade a person's privacy or post a persons address or telephone number.
-- Do not use statements that violate any law.
-- The discussion of an individual person, breeder, and/or kennel are to be done privately.
-- Disagreements between breeder and purchaser, along with disputes between members, are not matters for open debate,
and therefore, are to be handled privately.
Violation of any of the above rules may result in a temporary or permanent ban from the board.
Use of this board is a privilege, not a right.
3. Profanity, Racism and Sexism
Please, keep offensive language off this board. If you want your post to be read, avoid profanity
or your post will be immediately deleted without notice. Simply editing a few letters with an
asterisk or other symbols isn't allowed, either.
Also, racism and sexism will be deleted immediately and the offender will be banned.
4. Spam and Advertisement
Purposely spamming this message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages are not permitted.
This includes chain letters and/or solicitations, which have no connections to the German Shepherd Dog.
If you have a related business, you may advertise your services in the Market Place.
Collecting the email addresses, websites and other personal data from our members for the purpose of soliciting them
is prohibited and will be subject to immediate dismissal from this board.
5. Impersonating other Users and Multiple Accounts
You may not impersonate another board member or create an account specifically for the
purpose of provoking other users. Also, accessing or using someone's account or attempting to
access another poster's account is strictly prohibited and will result in a dismissal from this board.
When discovered, multiple accounts will be deleted. Repeat offenders are subject to a warning and/or a ban.
6. Nature of Discussions and Language
Please keep in mind that this is a German Shepherd Dog Discussion Forum. As such, the
contents should reflect this. Discussions about politics, religion and world peace are not welcome
here and will be removed without further comment. Repeat offenders will be warned and/or banned.
Each board has a heading, please read before you post. Off-topic posts will either be removed or
split and placed into the correct category.
The language for this board is English and posts in other languages will be removed without
further comment.
7. Photograph and Graphic Size Limitations
Any photograph or graphic image submitted to this board must be no larger than 640 x 480 pixels and 500K in size.
Anything exceeding these limitations will be removed without notice.
8. GSDWorld is a privately owned board
Therefore, you have no legal right to participate, register, post or read any part or all of its contents.
Please note that these rules extend to all areas of the GSDWorld system, including but not limited to
Personal Messages, Signatures, and contacting administrators/owners and moderators by email.
We reserve the right to reveal the identity or whatever information we know about any user in the
event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by said user, if deemed necessary.
9. The owners of GSDWorld are not responsible for messages posted on the Message Boards
or the contents therein and its accuracy. It is up to the author and the other members to do further research into its truthfulness.
10. The owners/administrators and the moderators have the right but not the obligation
to monitor and/or moderate the Message Boards. Please keep in mind that we try to check any new posts promptly,
but cannot possibly stand by 24 hours a day.
11. The owners of GSDWorld reserve the right to change any or all other parts of this
User Agreement at its sole discretion and without notice, including but not limited to implementing
Rules of Conduct, Terms of Service and/or other measures.
